went out today. bought a converse shoe at nearly 90 bucks. later shopped at ikea.

went to a city chain and asked where to change the spoilt watch strap. wtf needa go down to orchard pacific plaza (later realised it is the service centre for Diesel, Marc by Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Emporio Armani and Fossil) and needa wait 2 months after i order it personally and also needa pay $55 dollars. WTF. almost half the price of a new watch la. decided to just go some random watchshop to change to another random strap. means no more cool watch strap with logo imprints on the underside =(

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS TIME!

1) Manage my time better! With NCO duties to juggle with studies, its easier said than done but shall try ma best!

2) GO BSC! nah i shant be the only few to miss out on this awesome once in a lifetime experience. now did i mention i need someone to accompany me?

3) Make more friends. I have long realised I have made less friends than many ppl. i needa widen my social circle! i needa be less dao to ppl.

4) Be more vocal in class. OP has been long dragging down my results but year after year i have promised to score more pts but when sch starts i am back to dao mode. this cant continue

5) Save more money. last year i have been buying too many unnecessary stuff like albums and games. needa save up

thats abt it. gotta work hard to ensure these resolutions arent just empty promises

today was p6 class outing. or rather not. cause only 13 came. not to say 2 from the other class. watched treasure hunter-feat jay chou and lin chiling. the show terribly sucks. unclear plot, lots of parts that dont make sense, some parts that have no link to the story as a whole and some totally random stuff. the only thing that probably will make ppl wanna watch it is the presence of jay chou and lin chiling. a big thumbsdown for it.

following suit was bbq at shaoxun's condo. actually wasnt involved in cooking cause i was in da group playing blackjack. started really bad. losing $1 + . then recouped it with a 6,7,8( they set a rule before that that 6,7,8 will get 7 times the base amount-which was minimum 0.50). hence i got 3.50 . but later blew it cause shao xun got 7,7,7. while tkl borrowed $2 from me. while playing we were listening to top 100 countdown from 987fm. started listening from top 30. meanwhile we bet on the top song. i bet poker face, while tkl bet boom boom pow/i gotta feeling. at top 13 or sth , when we heard boom boom boom then he was like WTF so low.

as sx won most money(cause he was banker and got 7,7,7) he went to buy "bombs".those type u press and throw type. was listening to radio and we started predicting top 5. we thought was 21 guns/know your enemy, halo/single ladies, you belong with me, i gotta feeling then poker face(at least top 2 were interchangeable - and cause muttons said it was 2 bands and 3 ladies) then we got a terrible shock when we heard "would you believe ur eyes". all of us forgot about that song lolcats. then tio owned when heard beats to poker face. later went to the maze in the condo to start throwing bombs haha. lol sx threw one into my tshirt and almost ruined my new boston nba tee D=. but its ok la quite fun =D. tkl,yx,dy,xlb,shaun and sx went lan while rest went home. lol.

shall blog about my holidays in hk.

too lazy to blog a long post so shall do a summary.

day 1- flight to hk. united airlines buhao. no personal screen. just a big screen showing movies. luckily i have my ipod touch filled with shows lol. nth much was done that day. till night. went up to the peak. nice night views of hk's skyscrapers overlooking HK island. pity couldnt take too many nice photos(my camera is ownage in day but buhao at night). then went to wax museum. posed with many wax models. photos are available on facebook

day 2- day tour of hk. didnt really do much. went for dim sum breakfast then went straight up to the peak(again). this time at half-hill. another different angle of pictures to take. discovered plenty of wifi-enabled hi-tech phone booths which gave me a source of release-fb. then was lunch followed by an open-top bus ride to the "hung hom" to take train to shenzhen. reached there during evening. realised that my hotel was a 5-star hotel which previously housed world leaders such as LKY! omg. it is also the only hotel that i stayed in that had free wifi. but too bad china banned facebook. went walking around shopping centres there. cigarette smoke was highly provocative. interesting to note that even china watch hk tvb instead of cctv. due to us lacking in trust in china security at night(it was rather dimly lit) we went back early. rather appalling to see ppl eating from dustbins, considering that this area is one of the richest regions in china as it is a special economic region. lots of swindlers around too. acc to my tour guide there are ppl around who ask for money to feed their children so as to see where u store ur money then they will come to steal it. saw lots of fail signs around too.

day 3- day tour of shenzhen. went to some random park. then was lunch of roasted pigeon.lol. guangdong ppl really have interesting food tastes. 真是名副其实的“吃在广东”. then went to "windows of the world". its some theme park with miniature landmarks of the world. apparently its because china dudes not moneh to travel hence they built one in china to allow them to see it for themselves. the kfc there was (Y) .owns the balls of singapore's kfc. ferry to macau next. visited a 6-star hotel for casino. just nice there was a mac to sit there( i couldnt enter YET) and a "Manchester United Experience" Store there. 497HK Dollar for a jersey! WTF! but to add 2 epl shoulder flashes is 140 hk dollar. each alphabet of name is 17 dollar and each number is 70 hk dollar. so if i want a rooney jersey it would cause like 896 HK dollar which is like 170 SG dollar. anyway its really hard to communicate in macau. they dont know english, i dont know portugese and their mandarin is sub-par. cantonese would work but my cantonese is CMI. can understand basic stuff but dunno how to say. lots of nice night scenery due to bright neon lights but as said camera cant do it.

day 4- went on macau day tour(again). visited ruins of st paul- the classic landmark and symbol of macau. then bought some almond biscuits. had lunch at a restaurant. to access u have to go through a casino or else take a long way. so much of coincidence that i am the only dude under 18. so i either had to risk a try or wait for the tour guide to take them thru. so decided to try. and amazingly i entered a casino LOL. china security FTW. anyway left for macau tower to snap some panoramic views. visited some "ma-ge" temple next. that was where i caught the VISA AD IN ACTION. or at least someone performing it. haha nice. video on facebook too. took ferry back to HK. after some rest, shopped at mong kok and bought lots of t-shirts. hope ya liked it. lol quite cheap. 5 for hk 100 dollars.

day 5- finally free n easy. wanted to go central to have dim sum at IFC mall. but to much horror it isnt open(ok at least we didnt know till day 6 night when i talked to luky that hkers dont eat dim sum for breakfast). due to us starving had to settle for kfc.took mtr to lantau island. then ngong ping 360 to ngong ping village. visited the buddha statue and watched some random cultural videos. took mtr back one stop for transfer to disneyland. took photos of the nice decorations and the entrance of disneyland .thats about it. quite a waste of time i thought. best stuff was the cold windy atmosphere there and the nice shot of a mountain there and the imba views from the cable car. wanted to go lamma island but had no chance as it was close to sunset at 5. went to causeway bay instead . supposed to go times square but exited after minutes. stuff probably too ex le. went back ladies market at mong kok to buy my Boston NBA tee.

day 6 - had dim sum at the restaurant near my hotel. ok but not really so imba la. proceeded to ocean park. watched some animal performances. went on some rides thats it. fun stuff but lil disappointing. besides looking at pandas, sea lions, dolphins etc, and some rides, nothing much left. and this was supposed to be miles better than disneyland =_=. shopped a little at Admiralty(no not singapore's admiralty) then took ferry back to tsim sha tsui. just in time for laser show at victoria harbour. scintillating night views that as mentioned before my camera was hardly capable of taking unless i didnt move an inch. walked a lil around nathan road. but didnt go avenue of stars. rained for the first time in a week. dashed into some nice western+ asian combo restaurant which served awesome sized and taste pork chop. sian lol. went back hotel and finally bought an hour of wifi which was spent surfing 6 days missed of fb and talking to luky on ebuddy.

day 7- damn cold today. due to heavy rain the day before. before that the whole week 17-23 degrees. today 11-12 degrees celsius. WTF. unaccustomed coldness. well haddim sum breakfast again. not bad this time. then it was going to harbour bay and mong kok AGAIN. this time went around all the streets like wat goldfish street etc. then back to hk airport. awesomeness internet access again. then flight back again. reached at 12. but had to wait 15+ mins for baggage. sometimes it isnt that good to have express Qs :) reached home first thing i saw when i turned on phone- kenneth's sms about the pd which turned out to be so cool.

yeah my short post turned out long =D. in another 2 days its new year D= which means sch reopen D=. but at least theres sjab camp to look forward to =D

LOL firstly, the album cover is highly gay/ridiculous/WTF to begin with. I am sure u will get freaked out if u saw this in the middle of the night.

Music Again: a catchy first song that starts the ball rolling. 7/10

For Your Entertainment: "Once I'm in I own your heart...". true to the lyrics, the highly infectious and contagious song leaves me holding on to the replay button. awesome! I betya I can remember the whole lyrics already. 8/10

Whataya Want From Me: not among my personal favourites but i cant deny that its a good song. 7/10

Strut: one of my personal favourites in the album. 8/10

Soaked: i am being blown away by this song. period. 9/10

Sure Fire Winners: SURE FIRE HIT 8/10

A Loaded Smile: pretty average song 6/10

If I Had You: I dunno why but I liked this song. 7/10

Pick U Up: good song though it isnt among my favourites 8/10

Fever: catchy song. with some sexual connotations. though that is rather expected from lady gaga's songs. 8/10

Sleepwalker: among my favourite two. I LOVE IT 9/10

Aftermath: OMG he HIT THE HIGH NOTES in the chorus! lol 9/10

Broken Open: supposedly the second coming of mad world. although there isnt that thrilling high note out of nowhere in mad world. 7/10

Time For Miracles: the theme song for 2012. the ending part is IMBA. its shouting to be billboard top 10 . 10/10

Master Plan: aint impressive. 5/10

Down the Rabbit Hole: catchy song. 7/10

Overall: An excellent release by Lambert. An album fusing many different genres of music, his album is truly unpredictable. LISTEN TO IT when u feeling like sleeping. It will make u dance/ go into some sort of adrenaline rush.

KRIS ALLEN DEBUT ALBUM REVIEW

ok its time for a review on kris allen's self-titled debut album. Though I must admit i am a Glambert, i will try (note the word choice) to be as unbiased as possible.

Firstly, take a look at the irony of the text. "THE DEBUT ALBUM FROM YOUR SEASON 8 AMERICAN IDOL WINNER! FEATURING THE BRAND NEW SINGLE "Live Like We'Re Dying", "Heartless" and More! Ain't it ironic that BOTH songs listed are COVERS of other artists' songs (The Script and Kanye West respectively).

ignoring the irony above, lets proceed to the grading rubrics.

Songs:
10/10 - Legend in the making?
9/10 - Beautiful
8/10 - hey it's infectious!
7/10 - i'm lovin' it

Live Like We're Dying: an upbeat song with inspiring lyrics which unfortunately isnt allen's creation. nevertheless, this song is a nice cheer-you-up type of song which personally i would listen to only when i am either bored or feeling down. 6.5/10

Before We Come Undone: A track on the album that grapples with the struggle to salvage a troubled relationship. Ain't too bad. but aint spectacular too. 6/10

Can't Stay Away: a radio-friendly song which is captivating in a sense but yeah it ain't a spectacular hit. 6/10

The Truth: a HIT! My personal favourite of the whole album. the song oozes coldness (in the sense of his dejectedness) the chorus however shows Allen's limited vocal range as he trys to hit a falsetto (trying to be perfect that part). good song overall. 8/10

Written All Over My Face: LMAO and LGOU! ANOTHER COVER OF THE SCRIPT's SONG(what so amazing about them such that he needs 2 covers from them). average at best. 5.5/10

Bring It Back: another sad song that is well-complemented by Allen's vocals. 7/10

Red Guitar: a sentimental song written by allen before idol-days. a very nice song altogether. 8/10

Is It Over: averagely good song 6/10

Let It Rain: a pretty sentimental song. one of the better ones in the album 6.5/10

Alright With Me: a rather catchy song 6/10

Lifetime: (Y) good song overall. 7/10

I Need to Know: Another sad/cold song from Allen. his vocals somehow come out well. 6.5/10

Heartless: When Allen sang this song during American Idol, I wasnt among those that liked the song. Being the kanye supporter that I am, I thought then that Kanye's version was still better than the Fray's and Allen's. After hearing this, I........ AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT EVEN MORE. THIS VERSION TOTALLY MESSES UP THE SONG. It is considerably worse than the one he sang on Idol. 4/10

Overall : The Album is a solid release from an American Idol. Though I wont proclaim it to be anywhere near the best. Suitable for listening when you are bored, although I doubt it will make you any less bored.

a little update

1) not bad. graduated through my sec 3 life with a pretty decent msg =D! but i swear next year i gonna work ultra hard. I must get more OP!!! year after year, its OP that pulls my grade down. and every year i swear i gonna get more OP.... next year is the graduating year, if i dont meet that target, i can forget about entering JC with good grades. time sure passes fast, sec 3 whizzes by so quickly... so fast wearing long pants lol. i am sure everyone looks weird on the first week.

2) so we have officially taken over( i mean we can finally concentrate on our tasks at hand after the EOYs) . lots of stuff flooding in. weird forms etc. not to say about screwed CAA D=.

3) will be going HK!

4) chalets, chalets, and more chalets!

Time to set some goals:

a delayed post so as to include some things in the weekend.

lets begin from friday. instead of doing home learning, had to go to sch for saikang to promote HP to the parents. well i was rather uncomfortable talking to parents like that but nevertheless felt accustomed after a while. and my mcdonalds' delivery brunch got koped like siao. my sausage mcmuffin with egg became egg mcmuffin and my iced milo tio koped. after lunch played soccer at the new street soccer court with kenny,shaun.kay hian and lbao. kenny scored an epic own goal by zamming the wall beside my goal and the ball flew back into his own net. OWN!

the 4-7 time slot was more slack. had time to attend to some parents and then go up to watch the weiqi battle between libao and GB. needless to say who won =D . yuzhou managed to self-pwn as always by insisting he wants to take bio next year despite him not taking it this year. then after the whole thing, went back to class and guess what? I FOUND MY FREAKING PENCIL CASE THAT I HAD LOST FOR TWO MONTHS! all with the leftover sweet in it! was quite relieved. later slim announced he will be quitting to join HCIS. mixed emotions la. on one hand end of terrorising ppl and roarings, but on the other, i will be missing 2 great teachers. always entertaining in their lessons, with their unique flairs, and driven with passion to make HP better. I swear that next year HP will be much slacker without them, which is both a good and a bad thing. nevertheless wish them good luck in their future endeavors.

then went KAP with GB, ZW and XQ. had a quite funny convo as it just happened that GB and XQ were sitting on the left side and ZW and me on the right. so we went: left will take 1 hr to go home while right will take half the time. and also me and GB were on one side, while xq and ZW were on the other. so its like our side msg 2++, the other side screwed up MSG etc. then xq owned. we were like "dwight howard wat team"? xq replies:lakers right. as it turned out, most of his answers for our questions were LAKERS if not rockets at best.

and somehow argentina managed to lose 1-3 to brazil. wth. with messi, tevez still can tio thrashed by brazil requires much failness.

bought a new pair of earphones. audio-technica seriously owns. the quality of music blows out the old creative pair i m sure.

latest facebook craze: all my friends. It is obviously a fail. retarded matchings etc. but at least it caused some ppl i totally dont talk to/lost contact with to talk to me. lol

EOYS are coming up. i gonna come up with a mugging plan. no more underachieving as with these three terms. =D

so today was teachers' day. quite slack as expected. firstly met up with kl to anyhow write some messages for tchrs'day for sjab teachers-in-charge. then went back rulang . lol only have 5 ppl go back from hc on the bus. including unexpected sengya lol. was starving on the bus so went to mac first. then went to the bball court to dunk lol. seriously i discovered we have grown so much taller as compared to in pri sch. now can dunk liao lol. then sort of slacked cause hog had meeting. then slacked in canteen playing fm. i still cant win liverpool so sort of gave up liao. then saw weisheng's batch returning. i was like "wow" jc1 still come back? our batch like sec 3 noone really wants to go back liao.

and good thing about tchrs'day, tmr is holiday. but some dick history term paper to do. dang . (lol its my own fault for not doing during sab week)

SMOPS today had to wake up at 5am. siao.
went to sch and slept on the way in my father's car.
went to LT2 and slept.

took bus to external centre RGPS only to find that they arranged all the tables wrongly(should be 6 by 6 but they put 7X5). and the girls were all there le. wat the. then some girl told me that we wrote her name till very ugly and the box drawn was lousy quality. lol. i just daoed her as had just too many things to do. after chionging all tasks through 5 min gave out paper and told them to place their phones in their bags and place their bags on the side of the classroom. then i told them take out ez-link card for verification. lol they did all the stuff except placing the bags and they lagged for 2 mins without moving their bags. lol damn retarded la. the paper was quite hard to be honest i think i dont know how to do most. but after collection, seeing some answers for the first question made me laugh.
the question:
m x n is a prime number. what is the value of the smaller number, m?
sounds like common sense right? PRIME NUMBERS = 1X the number itself. and some girls put 0, 2 etc for answer. got one even ask her friend after that, what is prime number? and i see some of them are GEP leh.

yippee track and field got 2 golds and 1 silver 1 bronze apparently. worse than previous years. nevertheless we still got half days!!!!!! XDDDDDD

lol it just happened to be on the slackest day. so half day at 1120 means the following schedule: CA PE RECESS BIO PRAC X2 . LOL!

PE was fun! tchoukball. apparently track ppl are not that good at tchoukball as joo ern was named MVP of the game as he helped both teams score as his great leaps + jumpshots seem either to hit and score points or fly totally out. It helped the other team win 17-6 with at least 8 pts contributed by him. then add that to his interceptions that led indirectly to pts for other team lol. ok la i also missed a few including 1 i am totally free. i just wanna zam full force then it flew over...

ok so we have lost. 4th place. that is a record man.

ok sarcasm aside, i feel that we really put in a lot of effort. i cant argue that we have been disadvantaged a lot, even though we went thru a long case immediately followed by a short case. well if you think that is bad, how bout eventual winners nanhua? they were like stoning in waiting room for 2 hours then chiong thru everything in an hour or so. isnt that worse?

and i am really sorry for screwing up when it came to the crunch. shall elaborate later.

we stoned in the waiting room like AC4(NH) for 1 hour 20 min or so. started with Foot drill. i must admit that nanhua ppl were really friendly to us, sharing with us pratas and 100 plus given by their sirs and wishing us good luck whenever we went for an activity. well i screwed up in the very first thing of the first activity. anyone who was watching the drill would have noticed our awkward position. well had to march into the parking lot and back. we battled under the ridiculously hot sun and we performed our best drill ever. countless 1 bangs, brilliant timing etc. and i screwed up again. i gave the command for hormat kekiri and i forgot about it and continued marching. i only realised at the timing 3 4 5 down that i needed to hormat. then i saw cheeshuan walk away in frustration. then timyu saved the occasion by his swift recovery from his wrong timing. good job .luckily we got 42 for FD.

then had TOC. best show ever! and wonderful i forgot to tell the team to wear gloves. anyway the coordination was at its best. the judge even commented it was quite good except it needed polishing and cutting down on not so important stuff. lol "you have just saved the casualty's life". we manouvered the obstacles expertly and i must say we did very well. we could have gotten higher, but i screwed up quite a few parts which could well overcome the 14 deficit to 3rd place. such as the strecher was too close to ambulance, resulting in trolley not having enough space.

anyway after this two , we were confident of at least a prize or even first. we agreed unanimously as long as we dun screw up, we could at least realise our expectations of second or third. I was even thinking of maybe a surprise first.

then went for long case. I was probably too nervous and forgot all about the safety actions for the car accident. then tying the make shift collar, the judge went to say "you are suffocating the casualty." wat the. then he told us to focus on sao chuan after he say the other casualty was evacuated by the ambulance. then he rejected most of my confirmations of symptoms. such as for skull fracture: lack of symmetry in the face, bruising behind the ears, blood in whites of eye; for pelvic fracture: deformity. and for shock: rapid shallow breathing, weak thready pulse. he kept saying breathing is normal and pulse is normal. then he told us to do a log roll and we did well. his comments were positive such as "quite good, except u need to be faster in your treatment. and keep it up" how does this translate to the second poorest score for long case amongst all AC? and mind you it is not we got told to stop. i summarised with approximately 4 minutes left, showing we had finished our tasks. i am utterly disappointed with this score.

then after we packed up for long case. some judge tell me go straight to short case. i was like wtf? where got straight away go another case. then it was drowning casualty. timyu got a bit stunned when i said the casualty was unconscious and drowning. and we treated the casualties' correctly, with the CPR and the bandaging of the casualty's injuries. except for hypoglycemia where there is no glucose gel or chocolate bar around. all the judge said was "quite good. and you just need to take note that the most important thing to pass to paramedics is not the casualty report or valuables. it is that the casualty needs a glucose drip. keep up the good work." well somehow for this we got 63, tied last with 3 other teams. i am convinced we dont deserve this score.

overall we got 4th place, behind NH ,XM and AI. i am utterly shocked when i saw the AA score when they lost by a point. I was appalled when i saw we fell to fourth just in front of henderson. despair gripped us disbelievingly.

we felt that we had put in our best. this was probably our best fd , best toc and certainly best cases we had done. i just cannot accept we got such low scores for cases.

however it is worth noting we have come a long way. we never had a full team during the holidays and we switched members many times. we switched positions several times too with i think each member in the team taking up 2 positions before settling down. we worked hard, we came down for training regularly. I think this is a very good experience for us and though we are down and out, we will ensure we shall bounce back and show other schools why they should always fear hwachong.

anyway i should thank the ncos for coming down regularly and training us, particularly cheeshuan for coming almost all the time. thanks!

hahaz yesterday had gala dinner for 90th anniversary.

was raining yesterday. lol alighted with sengya and walked to sch.saw the clock tower with different lightings lolz. found arturo without his council badge. and nickchuan gave me a stack of newspapers to do saikang with. then found luky in his *ahem* attire with a tie. lol zw and friends niaoed him like siao. then stood around with kenneth and luky and talked crap. bought a 90th anniversary tee with the brand alain delon for 15 and one badge and some car decal lolz. took photos of naise rainbows in the evening sky and it was featured in zaobao today lolz. GOH was mr lim swee say. lol my parents guessed it would be sm goh cuz his house is like 5 min walk away? had a funny sounding school song and some patheticly-poor dinner. then zaoed early so as to avoid a human jam lolz.

ok time to break the long break from blogging. lets talk about melbourne first .lol shall beat luky to it.

well first day was nothing dude. just went up the plane and watched movies for like 2 hours and slept. :D

second day was tour around melbourne. during lunch the sec 4s got roared onthe streets for being late. had fish and chips that suck for lunch i gurantee MORE than 9 in 10(!!!) slept on the tour around melbourne on the bus. had pizza and spaghetti for dinner then slacked at the hostel surfing the net

third day was some geog fieldtrips around melbourne. went to great ocean road to see the sea crashing onto the rocks. lolz.lunch was bloody ex fish and chips that are ok and ridiculously ex milk shakes that cost $5. then we went to the twelve apostles to take photos. and on the trip more than 8 in 10 were sleeping!had slim propaganda videos taken at twelve apostles and the shipwreck place. lol shall post them later. today was the start of the mugging period in which we had to mug like dicks. dinner was at hostel and was some kinda XL chicken wing that sucked

fourth day was the first day with UniMelb . had some lecture about Indigenous Australia and i was struggling to stay awake man. bought an espresso of about 10ml (yes 10 ml)for $3.90. wat the? watching of movies about some Stolen Generation of Aborigines of Australia.and i forgot to bring charger and my laptop kinda KOed . lol with teh help of an EC3 dude, i turned off all dumb processes to save batt. lolz. lunch at unimelb was expensive. somekinda hotdog costs $4? and i saw a crumpler shop there :DDD but not the colors that mr xlb wants. at the hostel. dinner was i think vegetarian lasagna that sucked. during supposed mugging session, i played hearts for like 5 min. then some dude banged at the door and ce shun told him"calm down la!" and in bursted slim. wtf? and i got caught for playing. lucky he wasnt in a bad mood or else GG. that night zhewei, ceshun and gb went to buy a condm and lol was caught by xq and jiangshen loL!

fifth day was about indigenous australia. was about brit and the union jack and whether it should be removed. had a flag workshop in which we designed new flags for aussies. our flag was kinda dicky but who cares and apparently we got H2A for that Lolcats
had lunch at KFC!!!then at night as slim called out a meeting, slim found gordon to be missing and after liek 15 mins of search gordon appeared. slim roared at him and apparently he was screwed further by slim in his room. then jun hean and brion appeared in our room and played china socialist songs. memorised china national anthem by that night. then it was late night mugging for next day's test.

sixth day was last day at melbourne uni. before that took tram to immigration museum and some kinda bridge that showcases immigrant arrivals. lol apparently i was too muggish and missed out on jun hean imitating as a dalian chinaman to talk to chinamans. GOU LI! then chiong backed to uni for lecture about multicultural aust. on the tram ride back, the display which would show time taken for tram to arrive showed 7 min. then after 7 min, it became NOW, then after another min, it became 7 again. WTF? then of course we were late for lecture duh. it was open book test after that. i swear that i screwed up this test, as i dunno whether my format right or wrong as the qn damn funny. meanwhile second qn i no time to write. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.then was farewell party. ok slim gay smile was captured live!

seventh day was churchill island and phillip island. before that was shopping at queen victoria market. bought alot of thingys ranging from kangaroo toy, to fake baby milo t shirts, to chocolate fudges.then went on the trip. went to farms to see farm animals... then went to spot koalas on trees and snap them on photos. then had fish and chips AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN for dinner. watched penguin parade which was supposed to be like thousands of penguins flocking up the beach but saw like 10 or 20 only instead. lol i had my own fun digging out a large hole on the beach which could allow me whole arm to disappear in. i swear i would have taken a photo if those buggers allowed me to. anyways those baby-size penguins were damn cute, walking funnily and some fell down flat on their faces, i mean beaks. some stared at the sky and some just lag diao there.

last day was mad shopping mania. me xq yongda went to melbourne central to buy billabong thingys. i found out to my horror that i had only 68 dollar left. so i spent 45 on a quiksilver tshirt. and i regretted that 2 hours later, when i discovered a billabong shop in the Melbourne Airport itself which had some cool designs. and shit i only had 40 sing dollars.......

on the whole it was rather interesting a sabbatical but sian still needa do a research paper for that .....

Derrick Rose. The ultra-athletic guard out of Memphis has been known to basketball fans for a few years now. He brings a dynamic to his position the way LeBron has to the swing man position. His natural ability to make plays is as unique as we have seen. He’s just as dangerous attacking the basket as he is passing the ball.

The holes in his game are fixable holes. He needs to improve his free throw shooting (just ask Justin Timberlake) and become a viable outside threat so teams can’t do the Rajon Rondo defense. He will be a great point guard for years to come.
2003:

LeBron James. No comparison man. I’m not saying Derrick Rose is going to be better than LeBron in any way here but the numbers aren’t that much different. LeBron: 27 ppg, 6 apg, and 5.5 rpg. Rose: 17 ppg, 6.5 apg, and 3.5 rpg. LeBron is a one-of-a-kind player that I don’t think we’ll ever see anyone comparable to LeBron again but Derrick Rose impact on the game will be as big as LeBron's years to come.

2008:

Michael Beasley is a match-up nightmare for teams. His problem right now is that he’s not big enough to defend the bigger posts in the NBA but not quite quick enough to guard the great perimeter players either. His athleticism is a big help to his “problems” physically. As far as talent goes he may be the most talented basketball player in this class.

He has the ability to go inside and outside, isn’t scared to have the ball late, and plays mature beyond his years. The best case scenario for him would be to play his career as a three and abuse people in the paint. He’ll probably end up being what Lamar Odom was supposed to be.

2003:

Darko Milicic. Personally i dont really think he is such a bust as said. But of course he isnt worth so high a pick.

2008:

O.J. Mayo has perennial all-star written all over him. He’s going to average 20-25 points a game no problem and his uncanny offensive skill-set will make him a defensive headache his entire career. A thing great about his game is his willingness to play defense so early in his career.

He isn’t one of those guys that runs twice as hard on offense as defense. He plays tough on both. If Memphis can keep the core of Mayo, Rudy Gay, Mike Conley Jr., and Marc Gasol around they will be a team on the rise.

2003:
Carmelo Anthony. Like Mayo, Anthony came into the league right away and was a potent scorer. These two will be comparable because I think Mayo is going to put up numbers like ‘Melo he’s not going to be as known playing for Memphis as ‘Melo wasn’t when he was drafted to the Nuggets.

2008:

Russell Westbrook. Westbrook is a dynamic combo guard on a team full of young talent. The things he and Kevin Durant have the potential to do together are scary. If Jeff Green develops better and they can find a big man to hold his own for them, they won’t be a lottery team for long.

Westbrook has been compared to guys like Dwayne Wade and Gilbert Arenas already in his young career. If he gets to that level the Thunder will be a force in the NBA for years to come.

2003:

Dwayne Wade. Wade has been the most successful on the team level of any of the guys named. A big reason for that would be Kobe’s desire to get Shaq out of L.A. for peanuts and Wade’s incredible playoff performance in the 2006 NBA postseason.

Wade is short for the two at 6’4" but makes up for it with his deadly offensive skill and athletic ability. Wade flew under the radar of LeBron and Carmelo much like Westbrook will under Rose/Beasley/Mayo.

Kevin Love. Love was called undersized, not athletic enough, too slow, anything else you could say to fully reach his NBA potential and be better for Minnesota than O.J. Mayo. Love dropped weight before the season started, got quicker, earned his minutes and has been an absolute gem for a struggling wolves team.

Now more than ever he’ll have to prove his toughness with Al Jefferson going down for the season with a torn ACL. Love has a dynamic ability about him many post players don’t possess, passing. His ability to make passes and willingness to make passes are making him a popular teammate and one of the top rookies in this class.

It wouldn’t shock me to see him get serious Rookie of the Year consideration now that he’ll have a starting role for Minnesota, his numbers will flourish.

2003:

Chris Bosh. Bosh was a relatively unknown from this class, mainly because he played for the helpless Toronto Raptors. They were a weak team in a weak conference with Bosh as the only bright spot. Last year when they got into the playoffs after the put some players around him he finally started getting recognition. He’s an all-star caliber player with game changing ability and uncanny quickness for a power forward.

The edge in top five has to go to the 2008 class because of the giant bust of Darko Milicic. I don’t see any of these players becoming a bust short of an injury to one of them.

Essay question:The work of individuals is the most important cause for stress in HP in HCI. How far do you agree with this statement? Explain your answer.

The Humanities Programme is a programme in the Centre for Scholastic Excellence in Hwa Chong Institution and is a popular programme fancied among leaders in the student population. The reasons for HP being stressful is a widely debated topic among students in the school in which they have yet to reach a unanimous decision. I agree to a large extent that the work of individuals is the most important cause for stress in HP.

The works of individuals has contributed greatly to the stress of HP pupils. The work of individuals have contributed greatly to the crazily ridiculous amounts of homework and readings and have emphasised greatly on the importance of the quality of work submitted. Slim , the EC of HP , spammed 2 stacks of thick readings on the very first day of school and gave essays for tutorials to be submitted by Monday of the following week. The essays have to be of high calibre or the scripts would receive a L2/2 and a "SEE ME!" would be written. Furthermore, SLim contributes to the stress of pupils by his incessant roars which serve as deterrents to misbehaviour and also to get urgent work done. This clearly shows the role SLim plays in adding to the heavy workload of HP students who have to straddle with 9 other subjects and yet is expected to excel for all of them, as Slim's work has to be done with extreme carefulness and maximum quality, hence neglecting other subjects. Furthermore, Xingbo ,a BSP student, has grabbed the attention of all HP students who have grown to recognise their idol. This work of propaganda from Jun Hean has lead to pressure to perform by HP students as he frequently compares Xingbo's wonderful and remarkable achievements, behaviour and size with other students. This shows that Jun Hean's actions has heaped the pressure on HP students who have to prove that they deserve the limelight of the clock tower and also to reach the ulti-crazy standards of xingbo-ism which is spreading as fast as the New Imperialism.

However, it can also be argued that the crazy amount of subjects HP students take is a major source of stress. Generally, HP students have to take 9 or 10 academic units with or without biology . This is much more than the 8 or 9 for BSP and SMTP and students are expected to show quality results in all of them. This is generally impossible among students unlike they resemble Holitxian or seahyingcong. According to BT, students in HP have to cope with examnination clashes such as a triple-science test on a thursday or a triple-humanities test on monday and as mentioned above, it is ridiculous for anyone to score an a1 for all of them. This point of view is further attested to by many people who have received first-time MSGs ranging from 3.5 to 7.0. Moreover, many students have expressed displeasure of such arrangements and this can be summarised by a wongkk, who said "****!". This clearly shows that the ridiculous amount of subjects that HP students take up is too much and this contributes to the growing pressure as it makes it impossible to score well for all of them and one has to sacrifice at least one of them.

It can also be argued that the highly competitive edge of HP classes cause stress amongst students. The competitiveness of the classes , with many imba people around such as GGJJ and many others, cause other people to feel inferior and thus work hard to bridge the gap. However due to the imbaness , this gap never seems to be closed in and thus results in the weaker students struggling to catch up with the rest. According to BT, many people in HP sleep late at night , with the earliest sleeping at maybe 11 and the latest sleeping at 3. A clear example to sustain this view point can be shown when libao sleeps at 1++ everyday to finish up his homework, suggesting that he works hard so as to not get left behind. Hence it can be argued that the competitiveness of the classes inspire a sense of "kiasuism" amongst students and this leads to stress which is caused by the late nights during the week which cause fatigue and make the students get worn out.

In the light of the above discussion , i think that work of individuals is the most important cause for the high stress levels. The highly competitive edge of classes is not valid as it is not consistent throughout all classes as Loozhenwei of 3H2 puts it that he sleeps at 9+ everyday, thus disproving the theory that the late nights that people endure cause fatigue and stress. The crazy amount of subjects is also invalid as those who do not take biology can go home at 1.20 on tuesdays and this is further shown as libao and zhenwei can find time to satisfy to DOTA needs everyday. Meanwhile, some of the people who take many subjects seems to be able to cope well and have MSGs of 1+ or 2+, thus effectively canceling out the point that the great amount of subjects cause students to fret over their studies .The work of individuals is the most important as people from SMTP and BSP who takes equivalent amount of subjects seems to be slack , which shows that the differnece is the influence of individuals in pushing students to their extreme limits. hence i think that the work of individuals is the most important cause for the stress induced. time to finally blog!

lol as said by luk, HP seriously kills time so much that there is simply no more time for blogging to kill like last year. and lets review today briefly:

came to sch to find many other ppl from other classes such as luky, bngzl ,rockstar etc. then chionged by chinese file

found that many ppl were mugging the imba holitxian history notes. oh my i realised i couldnt enter yahoo groups download it.sian.

english lesson was erm horny as usual. period.

then physics and chem. chem got back chem test. phew scraped A1. then had to stay back 15 mins and write apology letter again for whole class making noise...

then was geog by esthercheong. used high tech projectors at library. then used laptops to copy down notes.

lolcats today was mock comp 2. my father sent me to kap to buy mac then went to sch. i barely finished half of the mcmuffin went we were forced to change...

so i unfortunately took the most sian lot which schedule is as follows:

break, long case, toc, fd, sc1, sc2.

omg start with break?

and long case was a little screwed. but at least we did the fundamentals rightly. i think we got 20+++ pts, at least better than 1 right? then toc was screwed. well in my opinion that so screwed to warrant 4 pts. xian ning said that had we used kok too we would have scored much higher. sian. then i stunned at the water/ fence part. kept changing from 4 man to 3 man to 2 man to 3 man to 4 man and 3 man.ok u get wat i mean. then wei dong gave the comment of the day: best show ever. niaooooooooo

fd in my opinion was not bad. but somehow we got 27.5/50. despite several one-bangs. just pass. the apparent reason was that st nicks didnt understand our commands lolcats.

two great things that have happened this week this affected me.

1. Boston lost to Lakers 110-109....

2. screwing up math test. got B4

on the first point,i heard that boston committed a lot of turnovers. and garnett got fouled out. but nvm, next match against nyk, time for ownage.

on the second point, it seriously affects my chances for exemption in math this year. but the thing is half the class failed , with gg, nick and the likes of it failing, one can seriously feel relieved for the first time he got a B4.

and todays trng was a bit gl. well got tremendous numbers of sec 1, 27 to be perfect joining. lolcats. and there was pumping comp between platoon 2 and 3. and i did 60 while klim did 180(including scams). lolcats

now boston celtics is 2nd in eastern conference , with a record of 37-9. next match shall be with sacramento kings(LOL!)

i shall give 5 reasons why boston will win the NBA:

1) the truth hurts=paul pierce hurts(pun intended). damage shall be inflicted upon other opponents.

2) KG the monster

3) Allen the uber accurate 3-pt shooter

4) Rondo is on great form: maybe an all-star this year!

5) Great defence : number of pts allowed is 2nd least in league.

in 2k9, rondo had 9 consecutive games with double-double and was jordan player of the game 5 times in a row. on one of them , he had 16 pts and 20 assists. that is almost record no. of assists le. sian but the supposed 10th game i lost to orlando. all my shots kena block by howard. lost by 20 pts. and my def is surprisingly noob sia. and rondo had 8 pts and 14 assists(1 shot shy!!!!!!!)....nvm i m still top of whole league with 15-4. not bad arh?

sian cny passed so fast. got almost 200 dollars richer too.

had cny celebrations. shant talk about it.

shall focus on after that.

so went straight to rulang and found that the security guard refused to let us in. after a while, then he decide to let us enter. lol. then tried to find mr goh/simply known as hog, but cant find. then hung around. then saw weisheng. and he was wearing same man u jersey as me. cool. then chatted with hog for a while. then was waiting for random ppl to arrive. meanwhile went street soccer court near sch but found a lot of paikias playing inside. then went jp. at first the plan was to watch movie but apparantly they cancelled it as the lanners arrived at 3++. then went andersons for ice cream :ddd. quite nice but is ex for a cup of ice cream (its 4.50 sia)
then went shaun's place for waiting. zzz... didnt bring any entertainment devices except iPod. gunyi, libao and xingya were emoing at the chair while yuan xin was playing with ball and got blown by whistle .(the security guard were strictly against ball playing)

then tried to go street soccer court twice . but the pai kias are still there. wtf? from 9++am to 6++pm? power sia. then was bbqing. meanwhile other ppl arrived. and when shao xun came, gunyi threw the soccer ball at him and it deflected into the pool! lol! we wanted xingya, who was water poloer, to collect it. but it was conviscated by the security guard. lol. then later a lot of things fell in. such as plastic bags, random pieces of paper etc. we received many warnings from security guard varying from bouncing ball on grass, and the various things landing in the pool. most own was gunyi collecting water from the pool . and when security guard(whose postwas directly OPPOSITE us) blew the whistle, he poured it back in. LOL!

then at the end was a shoot out. shao xun went to buy those "bombs" that explode when u squeeze them. and we played throwingat each other at the maze at his condo. nice.

omg this is my longest post drought. u can just attribute this to the curriculum of slim. i cant hardly finish my hwk nowadays, dun talk about blog lah. this is so unlike last year where i blogged everyday. well shall comment on these hp so far. it has been really taxing , with crazy amts of hwk everyday. and juggling this with comp training has really been harsh. argh. i go home at 8++ and i will do hwk straight away until near midnight. sometimes the hwk is of high difficulty, such as essays which easily saps up a few hours. and unlike sec 2 and 1 where u can just skip hwk of lower priority, u simply cant do it for HP as the tchr will just tell slim and slim will roar at you(it has happened). so it shows that CSE= cannot sleep early. i agree fully with this phrase. shall post some funny slim excerpts for laughter and relaxation:

ok it sucks big time. i should have known it when i started the day with mild fever and then overslept the bus stop when i woke up seeing that the bus just passed nygh bus stop. maybe it was hinting i should not have come.

well, first aid short case 2 first. damn ridiculous. i amazingly marched my team into the sea. lol. and we took so long to treat the casualties that i havent even final report i am called to summarise case. i felt that this was screwed but this amazingly was our highest score of 52. which i strongly disagree.

then was foot drill. i felt that we did much better in foot drill than any other thing. several imba bangs and arm swings more coordinated than before. somehow still managed to get a 19 for it. wtf? they say they couldnt hear our bangs. maybe they need yi ren's video on his phone which could show that our bangs were like one third of my voice. how soft is that? sure there were several poor dressings but i dont think we deserved so low. anyway the boundary was cool. it required me to think wat to do especially at last for the kekenan belok part.

then long case was the obviously screwed one. we got a record low 1 pt. well i dont really want to contend that but 1 seems a little too low? a bit on the niao side.

then short case 1. timyu got stabbed by the gangsters too. which makes it 3 First aider 3 casualty. which all have bleeding and shock.and 1 slipped into cardiac arrest. so no choice i had to take timyu and bandage his incision . i felt this was better than SC2 as we finish within time and i could do final report, diagnose, and summarise. yet we somehow got lower than SC2. i wonder how did that happen.

then was some rallying speech by ncos/ sirs. i hope my team is inspired enough to read FAM more. ~~hopefully~~ definitely we can improve.

had csc. then boring maths . i needed coffee during recess to not fall asleep later.

first period was chinese. had some leepl as chinese teacher. well she claimed she was our class mentor and thereby had a voting for chairman. obviously glendon goh got it. asst chairman was libao and guanbo.lol. later slim would say that she wasnt our class mentor and he himself is. lol.

then was maths. got owned by siewyp. lol she at first tot she supposed to go HP1 classroom(which was M1 then). then she say she is our tchr. first reaction of everyone was shocking disbelieve. then two pros decided to quit 3M1 . then we somehow insisted she came wrong class and forced her to leave(politely of course). then our math teacher was mrs ooi. well no comments except she lecture us on ace and op and some other topics on math and how to do expansion of algebra. as if we dunno like that lor. and 2 periods on these? waste of time.

then was break. lol

then was physics with yap shinn. yap shinn is quite cool. go create some networking site like ning.com to teach and discuss physics. cool. but he going reservist for like 2 weeks . jun hean go own yap shinn lol. and vice versa actually. he niao yap shinn's cool site, while yap shinn rejected his call for purple file.

here comes the MOST OWNING LESSON OF ALL DAY and the most distinct subject of HP: history presenting SLIM! he owned everyone with his dramatic counting of countries in AFRICA such as A FOR ANGOLA, blah blah,C for cameroon, G for GHANA... imagine his voice to be damn enthu voice. it would sound totally funny. and also there was counting of countries in AMERICA SUCH AS CUBA,HOndaras,Bermudas, Trinidad and TObago, Argentina, Brazil blah blah. lol. then he counted countries in south east asia most owningly. must go by geogrpical position. so he walk in front for singapore, malaysia, thailand,vietnam, then right for myanmar, laos, cambodia, then walk down for brunei DARUSSALUM, phillipines, indonesia. lol.

then was another GAME OWNING SUBJECt called geog by gwee hana temporary taking over esther cheong.lol her sarcasm owns a lot of ppl. and she revealed why everyone is like copyright issue here copyright issue there.

then supposed to be meeting slim for homeroom talk. but he said meet back here at 1350. lol this indirectly helped me own libao who was intending to escape after lesson when he was supposed to help direct me to steven sou. but he led me to src basement to enquire. and apparently that guy there say wrong place and must send email to it@hci.edu.sg. lol got owned as he say"SEC 3 already still dunno who to email to?"

after lunch, for chem. the teacher, ms boey was temp take over MR kong, was talking about chem and was still at first page when i completed her whole homework. lol. then reminded her about a dumb question which was like: Magnesium+ sulphuric acid--> magnesium+hydrogen. i reminded her about the sulfate part about it. lol owned.

then went moelc to submit withdrawal form. apparently i havent receive to email confirming withdrawal yet. then received email from mr steven sou who gave me a link to reset my password which expired. now ok le.

well as usual the weekly comp team roundup!!!

well today was a little disappointing at the start as only 9 came. well no more full team training. apparantly, that did not happen as i promptly smsed zx to join comp. amazingly he agreed and appeared on the same training. well had a few case, all below 15 min EXCEPT THE cardiac arrest one. lol i was like wat to do. as only 1 casualty 1 passerby. well, they dont know 2 man cpr so number 2 was slacking. then cpr took a rather long time. then had some short TOC training. well i dont really feel like posting too(copied from luk).

and at the time of post it is 25 mins away from new year. happy new year to everyone reading.

some new year resolutions:

1) Well, get stronger to do a bloody pull up.
2) Lead AC2 to zone champs.
3) Prevent getting a predicted screwed msg for first term
4) Get 1.0 somehow sometime.

and sian my 20 game winning streak on my game was snapped by a defiant milwaukee bucks. wtf? bucks leh, not lakers, not cavs, not magic, not rockets leh. even so, i thrashed cavs 90-66. and how did i lose 91-84 to bucks? somehow some idiot ramon sessions got on my nerves with his freakingly accurate 3 pters. he got 28 pts in the end. and fyi, he is a virtual unknown and in real life, he isnt even a starter. even king james 43 pts cant stop me from losing. pierce was like totally off form. after the loss, i waived all the bloody rookies and signed experience free agnets.

suddenly felt like doing a short review on capricorn, jay chou's latest album. i previously said i would listen more to it before giving it a more balanced review(doesnt mean unbiased). lets list out the tracks first.

01 龍戰騎士
the music was like some war music. was supposed to be rap, but seriously using my experience, that was not a typical rap from jay chou.
02 給我一首歌的時間
i really liked it.really smooth and nice. but i wouldnt compare it to classics like 东风破, 七里香 etc
03 蛇舞
wtf? like some indian music or something. next please
04 花海
lacks the feel and beat of a nice song. sounds unnatural too
05 魔術先生
ppl said that if u dont like 牛仔很忙, u wont like this. strange. i dont like 牛仔很忙, but i like this. really catchy. the chorus is like u hear once ,u cant stop hearing it. the chorus is fast rap, but i cant simulate the same sound that jay gives out unlike other rap songs.
06 說好的幸福呢
nice song. but still cant compare to classics.
07 蘭亭序
another chinese style song, but doesnt have the feel of other nice ones(such as ironically 千里之外 and 菊花台)
08 流浪詩人
epic failure . not that taiwanese songs sucks. hey but the two singers dont complement each other.
09 時光機

well,i cant give a verdict on this. jay's voice is really cold in the chorus and the part of 魔術師我恨你搶走我的生意別忘記蝙蝠俠靠我才票房冠軍.

well best song of album. has meaningful lyrics. well only one worth comparison to classics, but still not up to the sky-high standards.

well at least this is better than the cowboy album which i see only 1 or 2 songs worth mentioning such as 蒲公英的約定. i would rank his albums as such:

well today there was heavy rain in the morning and bloody hell, i forgot to bring an umbrella. i took it to the bag for zone presentation and forgot to put it bag. so when i was going to kap for breakfast, i was thoroughly drenched.

since it was raining, we couldnt do foot drill( and didnt do for whole training). so firstly was lecture on shock by chee shuan. then was case followed by case. i think quite screwed up somehow, with having to out of case for many times. but good sign is, we are improving our case timing. from last week's 17 min record, we dropped to our season-high(nba lingo) 9min 10 s. thats good. the rest of case was like 13 average. however i find it that my team needs to read FAM much more.

then went for slim thing. zzz... slacked for quite a while. then went to move tables and stuff. then went searching for libao at audi. then put up some vanguard designs. then went to terraces find libao again. lol slack.then did binding. i was like super efficient(i am not zi kua ok,the senior seriously said so): we had to do 5 ARMLU, Melbourne and other stuff binding. so i punched the wholes of all within 15 mins. then i finish the whole binding thing by putting in bind within 10 mins. and i did 3 binds in the speed of a sec 4 going to clock tower and coming back which is 5 mins. lol.
in the end got dragged and held back by slim till 630. damn it

zzz... the whole bncoc crap is over

yesterday was like parade under the scorching hot sun. i swear that if i stood under the sun for even just ten minutes longer, i would get severe heat exhaustion of somekind.
and the best part was that i saw dr chen in person. he like some old guy with his unique salute.lol

lunch however was nice. the chicken drumlets were like shiok. why cant our sch western food sell such things= they are not fried food, so i believe it is possible to sell them.

well i got a trophy for runners up in AA as supposed motivation for next year comp team.
then went kfc at clementi. lol had to wait 10 min for a chicken thigh...

and boston lost again to golden state. wth?

in my game, i traded my number 1 pick of 2009 which i got from thunder, to suns for shaq o neal. ppl will think i crazy or something. o neal is like 36 already, and like bloody old. why would i trade my number 1 pick for o neal? lol. because i need an imposing center as garnett was traded for james. and a bid for yao ming was rejected, so i found the next best . shaq was like a good scorer within the box and dunks nicely, but he is damn tired easily.hmm.. meanwhile lebron james in scoring for fun, scoring a season high 54 for me. meanwhile pierce is doing well too with 23 ppg. rondo is performing nicely too, with average 10 assist per game, however he needs to improve on his shooting.and i am now on a 12 game winning streak!

sian, tmr need go comp training AND SLIM's moving house thing. well slim knows my name le, and when he ask me if i coming on mon, i said yes(foolishly). i dun think i can pon it...

its boxing day(no it is not a pun)

however, there was still training...

well, foot drill was like screwed, especially with distracting np ppl. had some personal training session to correct our foot drill esp way of marching,banging method and stuff.

first aid case was all bout flyer. lol. like some heat exhaustion as the top cabin very hot blah blah. and the best one was the seaside thing. lol kok had dog bite, snake bite and jellyfish sting lol.

then had slim stuff. lol was like putting his stuff into his cardboard before i became the odd job guy. lol they call me go buy masking tape, bar magnets and stuff. then went to do binding with a sec 4.

then had to collate how many 1.0 ppl in hp= 23.

then libao called and said he can leave at 5+ latest 6. and excuse me, but at 630 he was still in discussion. of course, we cant blame him eh, cuz i could see tan chee wee outside his room. but just to note this is the third time liao leh.

man utd won stoke 1-0. ok it wasnt the big score i was expecting but hey they closed in on the other ~~noobs~~ teams.

but on the other hand, celtics lost to lakers. 92-83. sian. lost a 19 game streak.

in nba 2k9, just narrowly won dallas mavericks 79-78. lebron james tanked the whole game(oh btw i traded garnett and stackhouse for him,looks like a nice deal considering garnett is old le) with 43 pts. nice 1. paul pierce got 22 pts and the rest was scored by others. lol. and i almost lost the plot, the 79th pt was scored in 9th last sec, then timeout for dallas, then they shot but patrick o bryant blocked it, but rebound fell to kidd, who shot but hit the rim and rebound snatched by james who nearly lost it to nowitzki. lol dman heng. james just lagged and threw from mid half just nice.

sian tmr still have to go to the retarded zone parade. sian whole day leh, 730 am to 730 pm.

comp training today. sian today most "exciting". well thats what u feel when u find 4 sirs appearing out of nowhere: sir eugene, sir chia wu, sir ding jie, sir wei jie...

wah sudden pressure. and sir eugene specifically wanted to see my team drill. siao . have to be on my guard(or a phrase sth like that). lol. of course he had a lot of comments la, and like semulah almost a lot of commands. well at least we made thru it. he was like the drill is ok, but need more coordination. well i somehow agree. me and tim yu seems coordinated and the sec 1s are coordinated among themselves. so it is like 1 team have 2 moves. i think the diff is that we are from diff squads(unlike ac 1), thus the difference in drills. nevertheless, no problems are insurmountable =)

next is of course case. well ac 1 did first. their first case was ok, timing like i think 10 mins. but their recovery position is awkward. i was like, eh?damn weird sia. then ac 1 redid the case in 11 mins. then my team did the same case, albeit in 17 mins, with a lot of corrections and helpful advices by sir ding jie, and sgt cheesy. 17 mins is mind-blowing impressive, but hey, isnt that improvement from the usual 20+++ mins? gd job, i think we can make like 15 mins AND below for mock comp.

then redid foot drill for sir dingjie to see. lol . lots of corrections but made thru it. then had a discussion session to discuss to select a new member for my team to take either 2,4,5 positions. wth, all the rest of ppl from our squad was rejected and niaoed one by one by wei dong. wth? i think his niaoing can match yiren's standard liao la, but hey, why say in front of their squadmates? in the end they selected william, who is an unknown to me.

lol just won phoenix suns 118-100 in double OT. wth? original time draw 70-70, first overtime, tied 78-78. second overtime, celtics when imba siao, scoring all of their shots which resulted in imba 40 pts in 3 mins. paul pierce got player of match with 48 pts ,6 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. nt bad.

tmr is christmas eve, wishing everyone a merry christmas(ok no happy new year yet. that is for next week)

this time had a record-tieing 8 ppl coming . only ppl abs are art and as usual berd.

had foot drill. no comments.

first aid: well ac1 handled the 1943 case very well imho. well they didnt have any dude slipping into cardiac or respiratory arrest and of course no one dying. gd job man. well ours was a funny case of pokemons. lol ash was stung by beedrill and pikachu thundershock it in retaliation. lol. then rattata bit ash. lol. a bit funny case. sian forgot abt electrical burns and need to douse how long so i played safe with a huge number like 30 mins.

then waited for zw to arrive and then went bookshop to buy books as well as to pass 2k9 to him. lol he damn suay, his turn the human geog book is OUT OF PRINT. lol. the bookshop guy say go bras basah second hand shop find. lol. then chatted a lot of bball stuff with him.lol he was damn shocked when i say the eastern conference all stars with : dwight howard, kevin garnett, lebron james, allen iverson, gilbert arenas, jose calderon, dwayne wade, chris bosh, vince carter, devin harris,joe johnson, shawn marion and andrew bogut(OMG), lost and crashed 76-108 to western all stars with: yao ming, tim duncan, carmelo anthony, kobe bryant, chris paul, kevin durant, deron williams, dirk nowitzki, steve nash, brandon roy, marcus camby,chauncey billups.

lol and i thrashed nets 99-60 in my game. Kevin Garnett scored an imba 54 pts. omg.

in real life, brandon roy scored 52 pts against the suns. thats called imbaness. he deserves to be called into all-star again.

lol too busy playing that didnt post for last few days.

briefly go through comp training this week. pumped 90 at one go last mon. amazed i did like almost all standard except at the 60+-70+ when i did a bit of pumpings the scam way . then today pumped like 25-20 and 50 in a row.and today case a bit the guai lan arh. the first case was ok la, about cerebral compression, skull fracture, spinal injury, concussion , shock on a single casualty and asthma on the other one. lol for my casualty, which is obvious which one (for those who understand case procedure), i finish treating casualty, which is just put collar, kok and timyu havent even finish body check up. then i went back to diagnose case, kok just finish body check up. lol.
then art went to lift casualty legs due to shock, but i immediately stopped his as it would aggrevate spinal injury, but it was too late as cheesy wrote down the thing le as mistake le.

then second case was screw up big time. lol case history was in 1943, jap occupation of singapore. using common sense will tell u in 1943 , world war 2 , there would be no phone and no ambulance. which would obviously complicate the case.one person has many bleeding wounds.later he suffered cardiac arrest and shock and died.the other person,which was supposed to be my temp no 2. sheng yang was stabbed by jap soldier, and has abdominal wound, penetrating chest wound. lol timyu anyhow treat his abdominal wound, with kidney bowl put wrong way and penetrating chest wound tape wrongly. zzz. later sheng yang got respiratory arrest, timyu treated resp arrest wrongly... then sheng yang died too.

lol absolutely screwed. then was shocking surprise as sir swee kiat appeared suddenly to watch the cpr training part and left as suddenly .

now owning in nba 2k9. now 50-20. just won san antonio spurs in a tension-filled match. wah almsot scare me out of my wits. won 79-78 with a last second buzzer-beater layup by garnett. phew. i was losing first half 17-25, second half led 20-16, third half led 16-14. damn heng. i was like owned when garnett was subbed out. when garnett came back, he neutralized the most dangerous threat in spurs besides ginobili, which is duncan.
and now i think my trade of rondo+ tony allen for o.j. mayo was a damn own. mayo average 24.2 ppg. and scored 40+ points on several occasions. and luckily mayo suddenly came into the game, scoring 10 pts in final quarter.mayo was like missing almost all the shots in first three quarters. luckily man.

and yesterday the toshiba tv my father bought arrived. it was toshiba regza, 42 inch, full hd and only at $1399.lol my father saw it like damn cheap and once in a lifetime deal . then there was mixup between best denki and toshiba about the wall mounting. my mother called toshiba and they say we are not scheduled for that day's job. however on the receipt, it wrote that delivery and wall mounting on same day. then my mother went scolding all the best staff. lol. the funniest reply by best was: the receipt stated same day, but the day havent end yet(and the time was like 530 already.)lol

yesterday had comp training.5 ppl again. lol they say arturo transfered to my team as no 2 and tim yu pushed to no. 4. the first foot drill session there was a guai lan boundary, which was the drain at salt centre and the two areas nearer to sjab room and npcc room respectively,which means we couldnt march in the middle.lol.achieved 1 or 2 1 bangs lol.
then was digging session, in the sense of digging of boots of course. then was training of belok after i screwed up the belok several times by making kekenan belok land on left leg and still managing to turn lol.
then was first aid case. quite screwed. first one on marine accident, got bitten by jelly fish. the jellyfish sting at first they dunno how to treat, similarly the marine puncture wound. then the anaphylactic shock we didnt put the cervical spinal collar for unconscious casualty...was under extreme pressure when sir kuan yue appeared.

then redid again. a bit better. still had problems summarising case and chairman was like correcting every sentence i said.

then second case was someone fall down during x-country. had abrasions and ankle sprain. lol tim yu put the gauze damn funny, he put in a + shape instead of taping it on four sides.

then was foot drill again to show sir ky. wah got much more 1 bangs lol. and it came whenever we screwed something up, like screwing up belok, then the kekiri pusing sudden imba bang.

then had bbq party at keith's house. i told libao to meet at west mall at 6pm. and wat time he appeared? at 650. second time already...then took taxi there again. lol we didnt know how to go there and thus wasted a lot of money as the taxi driver went around all the roads named hillview ave to find glendale park. lol

ate alot of chicken wings and otah.lol they were planning to push libao and edmond into the pool.for edmond almost pushed him down until security guard appeared and stopped us. then nic, libao, sy, and edmond went to play cards in the games room and at first we went to karoake room to watch tv. then had deejaying session in the room with them putting songs at the mic .

sian today only 5 ppl. and k lim didnt come again, bernard pon, tim yu fever...

had very intense training on commanding. lol had a "music lesson" with cheesy. this is because he teach me how to command diseblah kekenan dan berhanti jadikan squad in rhythm. lol he used claps and beats as rhythm beats for me to follow. lol. very interesting. so i was commanding the others from on top of amphitheatre.

then had slack session. which is one to one session with chairman. lol .

then had case. sian it was damn screwed...

Comp training

lol had comp training today. and at first only me and sheng yang turned up.

after like 830 then k lim turned up. lol 3 ppl nia. even the ncos outnumber cadets.lol

had training on how to shout commands properly.

then was more foot drill and practicing how to shout the memberi hormat commands properly.lol i shouted the memberi thing simultaneously with k lim who was doing whole set. certainly confused them. lol

then chairman of comp finally arrived for the first time in X number of weeks. lol

then had first aid. which was lots of practice on the starting of case which is from march in to asking them to gather first aid materials and search for medical personel . me and kenneth took turns.then had case. lol the funniest case was the fuji ice palace one in which case history was as follows.

location: JURONG WEST AVE 4(which is already wrong), Jurong Entertainment Centre(and JEC is now closed le, going to tear down soon), #03-01.lol . case history: chee shuan was supposed to be gay with me, then when he found out i had change of heart, he went to punch me like siao. LOL. so i suffered from cerebral compression and forgot wat le. then on entering sheng yang was supposed to fall down and hit his head and have skull fracture as he slip on the ice.lol

then my case was .... chee shuan was gunman who shot k lim. so he had gunshot wound, penetrating chest wound and shock. then chee shuan himself had panic attack, hypervent and cramps. sian had to diagnose a lot.

then had foot drill again. this time with list of drills, i finally memorised the thing le. k lim did quite well la, his score is like 17/50 with leadership score as 2. mine is 10/50, with leadership 1. and there had comments: if they could give -50 for all the infringement movements, i would get 0. lol.

however i think this training i learnt quite alot. such as i can finally rattle the whole foot drill procedure. i can shout commands with crap cautionary . and i think i stumbled less. of course i still stumbled at a few points on the last drill. such as the diseblah on wrong leg and marching thru the crowd etc. hmm i think still improved a bit from last time. actually i think my memberi command is ok, except the memberi hormat masa berjalan kehadapan hormat. i cant seem to pronounce the kehadapan here quite well.no rhythm for this one, as this different from kekenan or kekiri as it has 1 extra syllable.

ended training by pumping 100. actually not 100 la, since ncos themselves complain they cant do. so i did like around 60+ la.

went kap in morning. ate mega sausage mcmuffin with egg.

then went nanhua...

kept doing parades. i was feeling that well, felt nauseous. but still didnt fall out.

then lunch was not bad. from western food stall . at 2 dollar nia.

lol later the rain saved us from more parades.

as said, posting abt holidays

1st day, nth much, took bus at beach road at 0730.stopped by at yong peng. wah the nasi lemak stall, the chicken is damn nice, maybe better than kfc's. reached genting at abt 1445.slacked at the hotel. sian although they say resort hotel renovate become very nice, but i still got the old rooms as they say the new rooms the beds are small... went arcade at night, played street basketball and daytona .lol.

2nd day, went theme park. ate at buffet at resort hotel. hmm not bad, but still not as nice as before. started the day with super toboggan. then my bro and dad went to the go kart. didnt feel like going. lol both of them so fast they lapped a few ppl. and my bro started in last position btw. then went cyclone, a roller coaster ride. lol only got 1 chionging down part. but at least better than the rest such as rolling thunder mine train and the euro express which is just fast speed. then went spinner. in all went spinner twice. also went bumper boat and car. meanwhile my parents went casino. lol they won like 1000rm , which is like $430 .

3rd day, went down to kl, times square. then ate the chicken rice from kfc there. then went to chinatown in kl. bought a replica man u jersey which looks and feels almost real. and it costs only $30 rm. lol. later bought an adidas shoe. at 159 rm, which is 66 sing dollars.

4th day came back at 3 . reached singapore at 930. in between had police expressway block to check all vehicles.

then checked emb. lol found out i am in 3h1. together with nick chuan, libao, joo ern, louis , and omg wen kang from 2b and GLENDON GOH. oh my...

then bought 2k9. much more realistic than nba live . now dunking isnt so easy like in nba live. and i am on a losing streak on boston...

tmr going holiday! lol 4 day 3 nights away from stress and troubles.

sian this week very suay. firstly , i finally found 2k9, at west mall popular. and it is the last piece there. and guess what? Usually i had a $50 dollar in my bag, and that day, it so happened i took it out. damn it. and i couldnt buy it until i return from my holiday....

and when it rains, it pours. suddenly my ivle pass=webmail pass kena locked out. before programmes application like 1 month ago, which was during sch holiday, i could still log in to both ivle and webmail. and i am damned sure i didnt change the password. and right now, i cannot log in at all. i tried all the passwords i think i used before and all other random ones, my nric , my last password before this crap, all didnt work. i dunno how on earth it happened, and when i checked with my classmates, they all could access both ivle and webmail.

bloody hell of a mess.

and the white marching gloves. told mr luk to buy. apparently he told zheng xuan to buy. ok, hope he buys, or else when i return,which is midnight thursday, on friday need to chiong down to army market and buy before my tuition at 215.

completed a tough month of 3 camps in a row: OBS, sjab camp, BNCOC.phew. finally time to rest

day 1 reported to AISS, and to my great annoyance, there was this parade to pour out all your things in ur bag in 2 mins. and to irate me further, we keep aligning and moving like siao. like they say"trainees arrange ur bottles in both horizontal and vertical. .." after finally standardising it, they say" move over to there." and have to rearrange again... had MOI first aid after that, lol my case was hyper ventilation. had a lot of lectures throughout the day. at the end of the day, had a ulti shock, i was like damn sleepy, then they say "guard duty for today: Alpha!Duty hours: 0000 hours to 0500 hours". wtf? kept walking around and radioing to guard com. lol all the checkpoint password damn lame. like coke, nuts, zinger... and the checkpointn have same password each round. that night slept only 1 hour, from 3++ after my shift to 5 .

day 2 damn tired, with only 1 hour of sleep. second day morning 0545 report only to get knocked by RSM arif. cuz we exceed the fall in time. then morning pt was 2 sets of sian things: 20 pumpings(omg i didnt know they would pump so much), 20 crunches, 20 (er dunno how to describe: jump to pumping position, then leg kick back, then jump up), then 20 jumping jacks. and omg, the pumping most ppl aroun me didnt even do standrad la. then breakfast was milo(damn nice) and kaya with bread. then had many lectures later on. almost slept.then had first aid case. i was case 6 with kezheng. damn we attended to wrong casualty. cuz the casualty is female. and we didnt know there was a male casualty in canteen. and the female casualty had heat stroke... and i even doubt the girls could lift her into canteen considering me and kezheng could just lift her to the knees. then had long foot drill session that was damn funny with arif ali. with his cool timing of machine gun speed left right left right left right left... haha

day 3 MR LUK was the cos. lol the name given by arif ali who called all the cos by mr/ ms (surname). and mr LUK was most funny. and how he pronounce is like Mis-terrrrr Luk. today just had preparation for camp fire. alpha had to do up campfire, bravo the wet weather plan and charlie the dry plan. had to do sai kung of lifting 30-50 kg of firewood in to car pouch, heavy drain covers and many bricks. then had practice for performance for camp fire. haha alpha's performance most funny: we niao a lot of officers and ncos. cuz arif ali keep saying u think u in nazi germany when someone raise hand as if nazi salute. and bravo ps melissa keep saying trainees u wake up already or not. and sir yong yue of charlie keep saying semula to make them shout louder. and ah tan sir keep saying"YOUR HEAD AH!" so we combined them . in our performance, which was a foot drill procedure and dance, we have normal marching of kebalakang, hormat kekenan. then ke zheng(the commander) fell asleep while commanding then we do screwed drill of rubbish kebelakang and nazi solute on hormat. then kezheng woke up and scolded us "U think u are in NAzi germany is it? trainees u all wake up already or not? then only i supposed to shout. then he supposed to reply"only 1 alive is it? the rest dead?" then he supposed to ask wat time is it and i reply midnight. then he will say"U sure?" then i say yes then he ask again, for me to shout louder. then he will say UR HEAD LA. now is 2 am. unfortunately kezheng forgot all except for nazi part. then we had to do 2 X 30 words paragraph. first question was why is the morning not good. and second was why we didnt refill our bottles to the brim.

then last day ,which was today. had heavy rain thus no pt. when we supposed to go pt, RSM arif call us all to parade square. and scold us for screwing up the attendance. and when he ask for punish ment, all the suggestions of pumping, water parade, extra drill were rejected. then the action mr chua of day 2 COS say 500 word paragraph. then RSM say" write 500 LINES of I WILL NOT SCREW UP THE ATTENDANCE AGAIN." omg . wrote like siao. still couldnt finish. he say send to his house. lol. k loh damn scam he write damn small. and he count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,20. lol. so he had apparantly 460 lines. lol at the end of the whole thing, when we ask for shorten the number of lines, arif say" 500 words only." LOL! then he say"500 lines is siao" cuz it is 4000 words.

today had comp training. so bernard poned again, and k lim didnt turn up. so i am the only number 1 again. damn sian. had to do commanding for both. meaning, i going with ac 1 the whole procedure, then after water break, do again for ac 2. damn sian la. and the worst thing is i dun know the damn sequence. after memberi hormat (the surrender part), i blank diao. and the list is with k lim who is like in india? without any knowledge on wat would be next command, obviously the whole thing screwed up like siao for both ac 1 and 2. i desperately need the list...

then was first aid mugging. had to pass levels. like first 1 was hanging , must rmbr diagnosis, then go lvl 2, must repeat level 1 and lvl 2. on and on. not bad, i was second to finish to lvl 10,after the ownage luk yean, which was finished respiratory and circulatory. and i still rmbr it now.

then went kap with luky and k loh. k loh was scammed by mcdonald staff of 5 dollars. and after that the staff came and ask:"

Are u sure that u gave us $12.25, cuz when i counted the money in the register, it is correct. Money issue is very impt to me.

K loh: " i know. money also very impt to me.

then the manager went back and check. after like 10 min, she came back and passed the $5 dollar note grumpily. wat sort of service is this? didnt say sorry, or anything, just say" U didnt get $5 change right?" then handed it over. and walked off in a huff.

and btw, since i took over commanding for 2 teams for 2 weeks, haha, 2 weeks later, k lim will take over 2 training too, cuz i go holiday...

bncoc theory phase over finally. that means nxt week is camp phase. sian i dun think i can even last a day in it. this damn thing is so morale, physically draining, i am damn sick of this course le.

firstly, an interesting start to the day. bernard appear at the mrt station with his psp, then on our way to North vista sec, when we walk past kopitiam, he say he dun want to go and went in. wth? at first we tot he joking, then in the end he pon. wei chin also, saying sth abt braces. which means we only have 15 ppl, 1 man short for the CAA gold criteria. after this, no one motivated to go the course le.

then was crap falling in and sian as section ic. darrel say he got cut on his leg, and thus skipped his section ic role. wah lao. 3 section ic from hwa chong, only i turned up and performed my duties.

then phototaking, they say i very tall and move me in front, wth? i not even 170 u know. lol stood beside csm chee shuan. talked a little crap abt the trainers, then got caught for talking. and i replied wrong rank. cuz she no lanyard. and they say no lanyard just assume as mdm. wth, like this my name get written down.

then was mad running to put our bags into a class room. then had lecture on ranks. lol. k loh successfully niao ah tan sir. ah tan said that lcp ,cpl, sgt and ssg ranks those chevrons are just "ikan bilis" . so when we came to his rank, k loh asked" sir, since cpl is 2 ikan bilis", then ur rank is "1 crab, 2 dead ikan bilis and 1 seaweed". lol! then more JOKING-orientated argument between him and ah tan lol. then ah tan asked k loh to summarise his speech on the rank and appointment stuff. k loh at first read out the original text as ans. then ah tan say give own ans.

firstly,the original text was" A SGT with an appointment of Platoon Seargeant will precede over another SGT without appointment, because the appointment grants the person the authority of the appointment, even though the ANOTHER(yes great grammar) SGT may be senior." then was crap planning for PD. with a damn fierce mdm. then was briefing on triage. then was lunch. at last a fair lunch was given. sweet and sour fish , not hard cold chicken drumstick! then skipped triage cuz arif ali went to shout all Sec Com(section commanders) to find dunno which mdm. sian. went there get blasted for the bad attendance marking. then tell us to find everyone and remark attendance when the rest are having triage. and time limit 5 mins. wth. ran around like siao.

then went back the mdm calmed down and was rather friendly. she told us to chill, only blasted the charlie 2 sec com for marking wrongly again, mixing offpass wif out of course.

then was foot drill with arif ali. lol. he keep giving the advance in review order command "Baris akan mara untuk di-perhatikan Samula, dari tengah cepat Ja - Lan"
then we pumped ONE! lol . he damned pissed and say knock it down, echo 1. wth. and the pcs and ps keep saying hold on, persevere. ya right, pump 1 , not pump 70 . still say persevere? lol?

then after dismiss, the ps say nxt time if dun greet officers , each officer that we dun greet , we will pump 20. i doubt it, seeing other ppl cant even pump the 1 pumping just now standardly. dun talk abt a potential 100++ if we dun greet 5.

sian , i hope this 5 days pass slowly, i seriously am in no mood for camp. damn tired. worn out by all this camps. i rmbr this time sjab sch camp after obs, all of us not motivated also. haizz.....

juz return from bncoc, whole day damn sian la

reach buangkoka at 715. was waiting for ppl. when csm cheesy went to count no. of ppl only 10 ppl. lol. in the end mingxun, shengyang appear on their own in sch. yi ren most own one. at 730 he still at home. in the end we appeared late, and yi ren reached even before us. wth?

after changing immediately kena scolded by wat was to be arif sir the rsm . sian, he scolded us for being late.and after some dumb admin matters, got our lanyards and went for brief and intro. our co sir was ah tan sir.lol. after some lame intro, ah tan sir was given 1 hr. and he spend it talking ulti crap . like when he say cheng can hair like got antenna, he say how to get cool hairstyles with beret. even csm got niaoed with his long hair touching collar. then yi ren was sleeping like usual and got woken up by ah tan. and btw my group was alpha 1 , which teammates were meant to be the imba k lim and bernard. but k lim didnt come cuz he will be out of course anyway cuz nxt week he got india trip.

then was ice breaking. we were sitting in circle and like first person say his name,next guy will say first guy name and his own name. like that go on. bernard worst cause he is end of the whole circle. but he imba-ly remembered everyone name.and k loh went guai lan ing everything again but challenging the high proficiency of their english, by twisting meaning of words and offering warp reasoning and guai lan ideas.

then lunch was like crap.small amount of rice and 2 braised drumstick. and veggie. yuck. then had tower building. lol. we build our tower rather high and quickly, but other groups scam la, they lag like siao but their tower just an incey inch taller. but all of their tower cannot support, slouching or twisted one, but mine stand straight.

then got dumb math problem. like what is the time at san francisco when John arrives in New York. they write that san francisco is 3 hr faster than john watch which was 1 hr faster than new york. then the rest just need go count la. and the pc, nadiah was damned shocked we finished within ten minutes. wah lao obviously insulting our intelligence. and FYI the time limit was 1 HR!

then when our pc and ps ask for feedback, bernard owned by saying ' can change RSM?" lol ! own! then me suggested shorter hours which they wrote down. then bernard suggested doing other more interesting activities. "

then was like going home? had dismissal parade. bernard was appointed timer which he screwed the besurai one. lol . and he is soft. sian la kena saboed by unknown ppl to be section ic next week. at least wont be Course Ic . heng ah! I will be section commander for alpha 1, darrel for alpha 2, and weichin for bravo 2. where got so zhun one all hci?

zzz.. i also dun feel like posting .lol

shall post about past two weeks.

last week had sjab camp. first thing we did, we owe a lot liao, cuz darrel attempted to smuggle in phone and yi ren attempted to smuggle in essence of chicken. lol. owed 35k. then that night solo night i was posted to a damn sian spot. at sec 1 block, near the staircase leading to table tennis and canteen. spent my time counting how many NBA players i know and EPL players i know. stopped at 50 for nba and 100++ for soccer.

then second day had triage. damn sian. then that night was night trail. volunteered to be fourth to go. this time quite short compared to last camp. well , it passed by canteen, gym, scout's den(a.k.a. kiddy room), clock tower.

last day, clear 31 k in all .lol . K lim showed his stunt again. he did 100 knuckle-one hands to clear 7000 pumpings. siao la imba. that is damn hard, considering one hands also quite hard.darrel cleared second most with one hands. then me third. not forgetting about those jumping jack ppl who cleared quite a lot too. hopefully next camp more ppl can clear with one hand.

and siao i was chosen for comp team. ok that is not too shocking, but hey, i am number 1. wth?

then had comp training on last fri, rather slack cuz first training. only 7 turned up. had to memorise foot drill stuff

then this mon, had comp training again. 7 turned up again. had personal training for my team to improve our drills. tim yu damn own, he give the damn sian fiace, but his pacing command and other things are damn accurate. siao la. then had first aid short case, k lim team did first cuz my team not enough ppl. second case most funny, case history was : a guy was at a lan centre playing counterstrike. then a bullet flew and hit him in the chest. then i acted as gun man. then i pretend to surrender gun to the team. then i went to stab k loh with a pen(supposed to be a knife). lol now they have to treat their own team mate.

sian i think i am not good as number 1. i think i more suitable as number 3. hope cheng en can come...

finished OBS! lol my group name is dhananbalan and my instructor is elton.
first day had belaying for a short pole . rather simple. sian la , we are the only team to pitch the tent in the dark. had to trek all the way up the jungle. damn hard to build tent at night.AND DAMN IT< today my birthday leh/ why spend it in camp? zhen wei keep on niaoing, birthday boy here, birthday boy there.

day 2, had high obstacle. i did with 2b weijian. siao, i climb with him, as we are connected through a tetterhook. then after the green ladder thing, he cannot climb up and i had to support his weight for around ten mins.my hand damn weak after that. then he released his hook with permission, then i climbed to the top. then we had cat 1 storm and had to wait for storm to stop. then we kayaked to camp site 2. and WTF, camp site 2 no electricity? so had to packt hings and bathe in the dark.damn it. we build our tents in the dark AGAIN. the bagpacks damn sian la, not water proof, all my dry clothes also turned wet...

day 3, had capsizing drill. other ppl sway many times then capsize, me and weijian, 2 time done. lol. then for the T_X rescue, as we couldnt even get up on our kayak, we keep capsizing like siao and needed raymond and joo ern to help. finally left. then we skipped the rescue, cuz it was damn hard to even get up on the kayak, so we dun wanna capsize again and climb up. then sea ex, went to ubin village and come back. should actually go round ubin, but rain damn hard and sea damn choppy. so cannot finish. we supposed to reach ubin vilage at 1, but we reached at 230 . lol. trip around 8 km . hand damn pain man. then at the end, while i trying to get out, suddenly my kayak capsize, and damn it water seeped into my eclipse. damn disgusting, as ppl shit, urinate, and all the litter inside. yucks. no electricity again, although that morning, the lights and fans were CLEARLY on. build our tents in the dark again.

day 4, had land ex back to camp 1. damn tiring, cuz had to carry 20++ kg , backpacks on our bags on the 10++ km back.

day 5, back in singapore. got report card. lol 1.22. german added in . xin ren damn suay, cuz he actually 1.5, so no need appeal, but german c6, so he now 2.38. class msg owns finally, 1.77. amazing eh? then had big lunch at KFC>

then went to celebrate my mum's birthday that night at restaurant.

then my mum told me on 22 OCt, day 2 of OBS, got some scam kidnapper call to our house, say wat children got kidnapped, hand it over 20k. my mum luckily got handphone wif her then can sms my bro, who was in Sch. and she know i confirm in sch, cuz my father sent me to sch on mon. then she go niao the kidnapper who keep swearing in hokkien, that since he asking for money, shouldnt be so rude. then she slam the phone. she say, that although she know of such scam plots, she cannot help but panick when she heard that. then she say exactly 1 week before, her cousin received a similar call too. now my mum go put my home no as private le.

sian rest two days, go back SJAB camp. a bit tight schedule.
applied for CSE , HP. contemplated for very long about BIO. after consulting many ppl, decided to take it . means i will have 11 AU, a bit too much. i hope i can cope, together with forecasted SJAB comp trainings.

yeah today no PD!

watched basketball. saw proed totally owning ortus in basketball. i think 70 to 34 if not wrong. at first proed niaoing and trailing in first quarter. then show real form. lol . aphelion walkover iSpark next.

then supported HSO in place of training in afternoon. yes we won second! but before that got some lame game . need to act out the words given. then sgt chee shuan a bit suay got the thing in the game ,pass the parcel, so he had to do chicken dance( i know it is a bit childish...) wah i damn lucky, if cpl wei dong didnt throw the thing in the opposite direction back to chee shuan, i think i tio. lol.then he did not shake as much as other schs, so he had to redo. lol

lit. got 20.17.20 respectively. heng arh. the gentle night crap not enough elaboration. so lit= a1.

then my english owned. paper II got 53/70. then paper I got 41/60 . so total 94/130. which is A2. so my english overall a2!

chinese already knew my compo write off-topic. expectedly got just pass. 39/70 . boosted by my great narration. 15/35 for content and 24/35 for narration.they write there "文笔佳!"lol. i then found out need 86/110 for paper II to get A1. thought die liao. then received paper . OWN! got 89/110. phew. smmary did not pull me down. for first time . 13/20

then went for history. i knew i needed only FAIL for history to get A1. (Hey seriously) i just need 68% in EOY to score A1 in IH. since my geog got 46/50 which is 92. then my history only need 44% to get A1. lol. then matthews five min became thirty mins again...

then got 41/50! mentioned over the mic by matthews.! yeah! albeit no one clap. sian la.

so overall msg 1.29! so got my iPod Nano my mum promised. ha

went to west mall but damnit they say that jay chou album delayed to 15 Oct. sian.then went mac with libao. tried wasabi shaker wihle libao took wasabi filet. they both suck. wasabi is supposed to be spicy but it is bitter. libao threw away half of his filet and we both left over a lot of fries.

yesterday went to some botak jones imitation at bukit batok. char-grill bbq/bar it seems. ordered cajun chicken. quite small piece la. but at 6.50 should be ok lah. got two free sides. took fries and onion rings. the cajun chicken not too bad but it is in no way comparable to botak jones in terms of portion or quality.

woke up today at 830. lol. then slowly went to KAP to eat.

appeared at sch at 1020. the math paper it seems , that it was damn simple. the science also most easy paper of all time. physics no need draw diagrams .YES! physics paper i last time did badly because all diagram all draw wrongly, but all memorising work all correct. so today no need draw reflection, refraction and total internal reflection. and lense. phew. so it was quite simple.

tmr friday. can play a while liao! sian realised that FIFA 09 is out only in oct 14 not tmr. damn weird leh, singapore version is the UK version which is released tmr. but oct 14 is the US version, and singapore version is supposed to be released on this date? i dun understand wth logic is this. someone can explain?

so english paper quite easy yesterday. wrote about cleaner one.

geog spammed a full page for last two qns. i truly believe i own.

and went to KFC yesterday. with great persuasive skills, managed to persuade a reluctant libao to go with me. at first he wanna go home cause raining heavily. but i showed him the coupon for KFC. then he said :lets go.

finished mugging history. praying for best tmr.

watched alittle of F1 singapore. amazingly i watched the most interesting part. the part when massa ran out of pit stop and th ewhole gas pipe still stuck!. it hit one of the ferrari pitstop guy who fell down. woah. and ferrari raikonnen came in right after and almost crashed into the poor guy. massa realised it later and braked at the side.

meanwhile ferrari ppl finish raikonnen then run there. at first massa leading sia, now he rejoin as last. poor massa. bad error from ferrari. then massa scam later. there was one turn he spun and almost crash. but continue. 1 sec later, adrian sutil rammed into the part he crashed just now. and safety car brought out. woah. alonso actually lead 23 sec, wth now cut down as they went back to grid. poor alonso. in the end he still won. then raikonnen damn suay. towards end of race he rammed into the barrier and was out. whole ferari out. suayness in action. in the end alonso first, rosberg second and hamilton thrid. alonso was brilliatn driving from 12 to first slowly. but he had the luck of such incidents of course.
